Who is Mark?
Born May 6, 1972, I grew up in Stone Mountain, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. I am a sports fan but with perspective (they’re entertainers, not heroes). I got married in September 2000 to an Indiana chick, Jennifer. We rencently had our first child, Neleah. Well, I say “We”, Jennifer did all the work, all I did was stand there. I used to be an avid Jet Skier, Deep Sea Diver and Guitarist, but as with most passions that often change when we get older, I havent done either in awhile. Currently, I work as a Software Engineer/Applications Developer for Colonial Pipeline Company.Education: Clarkston High School (Clarkston, GA.); Georgia Southern University (the Harvard of South Georgia)/BS in Marketing/Advertising; various continuing-education courses in my profession (Oracle, FileNET, Web Development).
In My Music Collection: Very mainstream: Coldplay, Our Lady Peace, U2, etc… I also have an everlasting love in my heart for the great hair bands of the eighties. Bon Jovi, Ratt, Motley Crue, etc… You know, back when musicians used to actualy write their own music.
Favorite Books: Where Is Joe Merchant, Tales from Margaritaville.
Favorite Movies: Point Break, Ocean’s 11, pretty much anything with a “Casino/Vegas/Con Like Flare”. Although Ocean’s 12 left me feeling very disappointed, much like when I realized Reebok Hightops were no longer acceptable style.
What you will find on this site?
Family photos, links to sites I visit often, my weblog entires. Most of my entries are to be read like a quick bar conversation. I usually talk about current events from my perspective. Overall, the postings are light-hearted, but the subject matter is serious to me. Users can also post a comment to each entry by clicking the “Comment” link at the bottom of each entry.
